Many types of bacteria occur naturally in the digestive tract of animals. In a healthy animal there is a state of equilibrium, so that the number of pathogenic bacteria remains restricted. If this equilibrium is distributed by stress factors etc., infectious diarrhoea can easily occur.
FORTICOAT®-NL contains modified organic acids and fatty acids. The special effect is that the active ingredients are not neutralized by the minerals in the water and the feed. The anti-bacterial effect end the ph-lowering effect stay effective throughout the intestinal tract. The enzyme production is stimulated and optimal digestion and absorption is promoted.
FORTICOAT®-NL is used in poultry and pigs. FORTICOAT®-NL is hardly corrosive and user-friendly. The pH-value of the pure product is approx. 4.0. Dissolved in water FORTICOAT®-NL has a strong pH-lowering effect. Even at higher dosages the pH-value will not lower beneath 4.0 because of the buffer capacity of FORTICOAT®-NL. Problems with corrosivity and taste are prevented.
